For the most part I am just a regular guy, who has found a channel of expression through architecture, to enrich & bring a better quality of life experience to people through their spatial travel & engagement with buildings & environment.

 

I have a keen interest on the entrepreneurial aspects of practise with a drive to lead, steer and make a difference in any small way. I love bringing out the best in people through my work, with a competitive streak which sees me pushing for excellence. I have fond, lucid memories working in South Africa as an architect program manager, building/ renovating schools ravaged by storm or deterioration & working with community leaders, teachers & consultants, contractors to bring fresh, renewed hope. I also met some amazing colleagues.

 

I am very passionate about adding value in favour of better buildings & environments that provide meaning to people and communities, for children and families to feel good in. Persistence, with a principled approach helps me drive the process.

 

I volunteer on an ongoing basis for charitable and professional organisations & have been very active on architectural Councils - through this involvement helping to bring growth and development for the architectural community. I was involved in amending the Code of Conduct for architectural persons in South Africa. I have also participated in an exciting project management learning experiments to support research in the field.

 

Born in South Africa, with hindu cultural background, and settled in Ireland, it naturally suggests that I mix with cultures & diverse people.

 

I would love to connect with visionary people, who do business & work in a principled, honest manner - open to opportunities and developing business that can offer innovative solutions to social & system challenges that can make our environments safer and working habits less stressful (currently studying Cloud Platform Development).
